Green energy · Biomass & RDF fuel supply

Green fuel for India's industry.

Novacare Projects supplies biomass fuels such as chilli stalk and rice husk, and refuse-derived fuel (RDF) that replace coal in cement kilns, pharma boilers and process plants. Crop residue that would be burnt in fields and city waste that would go to landfill become dependable industrial fuel, helping plants meet India's clean energy goals.

Where our fuel comes from

From Telugu farmlands to India's kilns

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana grow more chilli than anywhere else in India and mill huge volumes of paddy. The stalks and husks left behind are the green fuel we supply.

Why green fuel, why now

Government is pushing industry to green fuel

Climate commitments, waste rules and carbon targets now point industry the same way: burn less coal and more renewable and waste-derived fuel. Plants that move early lower costs and stay ahead of compliance.

2070

Net Zero India

India has committed to net zero emissions by 2070. Replacing coal with biomass in industry is one of the most direct ways to cut emissions today.

RDF mandate

The Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026, in force from 1 April 2026, require cement and waste-to-energy plants to raise RDF use from 5% to 15% of their fuel over six years.

Biomass co-firing

The Ministry of Power's November 2025 policy requires coal-based power plants to co-fire 5% biomass pellets from 2025-26. Plants in the NCR add 2% torrefied MSW charcoal.

Carbon targets

Emission-intensity targets for cement plants were notified in October 2025 under the Carbon Credit Trading Scheme, for 2025-26 and 2026-27.

The green difference

Waste becomes energy

Every tonne we supply takes material out of a problem and puts it to work in place of coal.

Smoke from rice residue being burnt in a harvested field in India
Crop residue burning, IndiaEvery tonne of residue we buy is a tonne that isn't burnt in the open.
Without us

Chilli stalk & husk

Crop residue is often burnt in open fields after harvest, adding to smoke and air pollution.

With Novacare

Boiler & kiln fuel

Sourced from farms and mills and dispatched straight to plants, where it burns under control and replaces coal.

Without us

City waste

Plastics, paper and textiles in municipal waste end up in landfills that keep growing.

With Novacare

RDF for cement kilns

Processed into refuse-derived fuel and co-processed in cement kilns, recovering its energy.

Without us

Coal & imported fuel

Fossil carbon released for good, with prices tied to global markets.

With Novacare

Local renewable fuel

Sourced from Indian farms, mills and cities, supporting rural incomes and lower plant emissions.

Our model

Direct from source to your plant

We run an asset-light supply network. Instead of stocking material in our own yards, we contract it from verified suppliers and dispatch it straight to the buyer's plant, with Novacare managing quality, contracts, logistics and documentation in between.

Supply side

Verified suppliers

  • Farmers & FPOs
  • Rice mills & agro processors
  • Authorised RDF processing plants

Quality & logistics

  • Supplier contracts & pricing
  • Lot testing before dispatch
  • Truck scheduling & tracking
  • Invoicing, e-way bills, records
Demand side

Industrial buyers

  • Cement kilns & calciners
  • Pharma & process boilers
  • Pellet makers for co-firing

Handled once

Material is loaded at the source and unloaded at your plant, with no intermediate storage or re-handling.

Faster delivery

Trucks run straight from supplier to plant, cutting transit time and freight.

Wider reach

Not tied to one yard, we can source from whichever suppliers are closest to your plant.

Our green fuels

Biomass and RDF

Choose a fuel to see what it is, where it fits, why it's green and what we report on every lot.

Fuel quality changes with season, source and storage. Typical values are indicative only. Contract specifications are agreed per buyer and checked against the test report for each lot.

Industries

Who we fuel

Any plant with a kiln, furnace or boiler that can take solid fuel can start replacing coal. We match the fuel, its size and its moisture to the equipment.

How supply works

Switching made simple

A plant can't afford to stop because of poor fuel. We start with a sample and a trial load, so the green fuel is proven in your equipment before you commit.

Quality & documentation

Why plants choose us

Green fuel only works if it's reliable. We back every load with test data and paperwork your accounts, operations and sustainability teams can use.

Tested every lot

GCV, moisture and ash for each dispatch, and chlorine and sulphur for RDF, so you know what you're firing.

Records for ESG

Lot-wise quantities and test reports help your team record green fuel use for sustainability and compliance reporting.

Agreed limits

Quality limits and deductions are written into the contract, so a wet or low-GCV load is settled by agreement.

Steady volumes

Multiple farms, mills and processors keep supply running through crop seasons and monsoon months.

Clean GST invoicing

Bill-to-ship-to invoicing for direct dispatch, with correct HSN, rate and e-way bills, so input tax credit flows smoothly.

Weighbridge backed

Every truck is weighed at loading and the slip travels with the invoice, so quantities reconcile at your gate.

For suppliers

Sell your biomass to Novacare

Farmers, FPOs, rice mills, traders and RDF processors: we buy regularly and pick up from your location, so residue that would be burnt or dumped earns you money.

Pickup from your location

We arrange the trucks and load at your farm, mill or plant. You don't need to arrange transport.

Fair price per MT

Rates agreed before loading, based on quantity, quality and moisture.

Weighed & recorded

Every load is weighed at loading, so you're paid on the actual quantity.

Regular offtake

The company

About Novacare

Novacare Projects LLP is a Hyderabad-based green energy company that supplies renewable and waste-derived fuels to industry. We work on an asset-light model: we contract chilli stalk, rice husk and other agro residues from farms and mills across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and refuse-derived fuel from authorised processors, and dispatch them directly to plants on agreed specifications and schedules.

The partners come from the Sircilla region of Telangana and bring long-standing ties with the farming and milling communities that produce biomass, so more of the value of every harvest stays with rural India.
